We’re proud to announce that HERIF has been selected as a recipient of the Strengthening & Sustaining Mobile Healthcare Grant Award!

This funding will enable us to evaluate and strengthen our mobile healthcare initiatives, helping us improve service delivery to underserved communities and advance equitable access to healthcare.

The HERIF Scholarship is making a difference for students at Moraine Valley Community College. This year's recipients, including Stefanie, Jayden, Alyssa, Sarid, Jenifer, Alexis, Yasmeen, Zoe, Kierra, and Maira, are taking steps toward their careers in health sciences and nursing. As Stefanie said, "This scholarship will allow me to focus on my studies and not stress so much about earning enough money to pay off my balance."

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the inaugural Future HealthTech Leaders Innovation Challenge, hosted by HERIF in partnership with MATTER. This exciting event brought together five innovative companies—Emboa Medical, inclusive+, Plateful, PragmaClin Research Inc., and Monark Health—each focused on creating solutions to improve care outcomes and address health inequities. After an afternoon of inspiring pitches and insightful Q&A with our panel of industry leaders, we are proud to celebrate OUR WINNER, Monark Health! CONGRATULATIONS!

A digital behavioral health treatment program for children and adolescents with medical conditions and health concerns with a mission to equitably expand the reach of trained pediatric psychology specialists and evidence-based interventions.

We are excited to announce that our founder, Dr. Dheeraj Mahajan, has been honored as a 2024 Immunization Champion Award winner by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM), with support from the CDC! This prestigious recognition celebrates Dr. Mahajan's exceptional dedication to advancing public health in Chicago and beyond.

The Immunization Champion Award, organized by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), honors individuals who excel or go the extra mile in promoting immunizations for both children and adults within their communities. This year, 46 recipients were chosen from a group of health professionals, community advocates, and other leaders in immunization for their significant impact on public health.
